Juhani Aho was an author of many skills – the first Finnish professional author, a journalist and a translator, whose books were sold also on the international markets. Aho wrote about Finnish nature, national issues, women’s position and that of the working class. Aho is considered to have created the foundation for modern Finnish prose and is one of our national authors.
Our interpretation of Aho consentrated on his work as a journalist and his love for nature.
The stamp was printed with several spot inks and finished off with plate printing, leaving a dent on the paper.
