BOTH did some brand related work for Marimekko. Because of our obligation to observe secrecy we can’t really say much about it.

But we can say something about this particular piece of work: Marimekko launched its flagship store ’Marikulma’ in the heart of Helsinki in February 2011. Shortly after Marimekko joined forces with the famous Strindberg Café to give their customers a possibility to wind down and enjoy refreshments of many sorts. Marikahvila (Mari café) was born. BOTH was asked to extrapolate the iconic marimekko -logo into a standalone marikahvila -logo.
