ProCom, the Finnish Association for Professional Communicators has nominated the best customer, interest group and in-house magazines.
Teemu Ollikainen and Timo Berry, BOTH designers and partners, were the visual jurors of the competition now the third year in a row. The journalistic jurors were Jarno Forssell and Riitta Korhonen.
This year we saw more hired help in the magazine design process, and the level of entries had risen.
The best in-house magazine was Helsingin Henki by the City of Helsinki, which had developed from the previous year. Its fresh, multi-faceted and close to the reader. The challenging tabloid format is well used.
The best customer and interest group magazine was Finpro inFront, a cheery, active and rich publication with lots of well-thaught-out detailing.
Other awards went to the Almanakka published by Alma Media, the Wattsup by Wärtsilä, Profile publisehd by the Aalto University Executive Educatio and Telma published by this-we-will-not-translate-into-English Työsuojelurahasto ja Työturvallisuuskeskus.

BOTH congratulates the winners and thanks the fellow jurors for a pleasant job!
